How it was built

254 commits over 18 days. Every one was made by a Claude Code session working from the bootstrap prompt — none was written by hand. The first session interviewed the principal for nine rounds, then scaffolded the vault one commit at a time; each session after it was a single day in his fortnight.

The dates below are the days in the story, taken from the commit messages. The whole fortnight was produced in a few real hours, so the committer timestamps are all nearly identical — scripts/export-demo-history.py derives the day the work belongs to and carries it forward. The commits themselves are real and unedited.
