Two weeks — who did which
“Two weeks tomorrow. Ophelia’s in the water, Claire has an answer coming, Dmitri has a title, the wire went out on time, and I know when my wife gets home. Log the ones that were you and the ones that were me honestly, and don’t be generous to either of us.”
Friday’s report covered what moved and what did not. This one answers only the attribution question. Five claims. Each checked against the files rather than accepted. Two of the five the vault cannot confirm, and they are marked as unconfirmed rather than logged as wins, because logging an unverified win is the generosity he asked me not to extend.
1. “Ophelia’s in the water” — Ellis’s, and it is standing on an unpaid bill
True. Splash confirmed Saturday 19 September; you called Ellis on the 12th and approved the $3,400.
Yours: the decision, twice — the rate on 7 September, the confirmation on the 12th. Mine: noticing that the splash had acquired a second dependent on 11 September and became the gating item for the 26–27 weekend. That is real and it is small. Ellis Wright’s: the work.
The part that is not a win. You approved $3,400 of new work at a yard you were
52 days late paying, and the boat has gone back in the water with that invoice
still unsent. hobbs-bg9, P0, fifteen days open, roughly 66 days on the bill.
Whose that is, split honestly: the first seven days are mine — decided, written up in three files, in zero of five briefs, and you caught it, not me. The eight days since are yours. It has been in every brief since 12 September and the send is one you have to make.
2. “Claire has an answer coming” — hers, and the vault says she has not been told
Claire wrote the proposal. Forty percent over five years out of profit, and the sentence underneath it:
“You asked me what I wanted four months ago and I didn’t answer because I didn’t think I was allowed to want that.”
Yours: the reversal. ADR-25 turned over ADR-22’s direction on her account, and ADR-26 opened the buy-in. Those are decisions and they are yours. Mine: capturing it the day it happened and putting the 30 September date on it.
What the vault says, and it contradicts the claim.
Atlas/ventures/ashcroft-tool-die/VENTURE.md reads, in writing: “She has had no
acknowledgement.” Yesterday’s brief reads “Claire — 3 days. No
acknowledgement yet.” hobbs-xkw — tell her you have it and the date she gets
an answer — has been open since 5 September.
The answer itself is not late; it is due the 30th. The acknowledgement is the thing, and it is the two-minute one. This is the person the whole of operating rule 7 was written about — “the fear is not that she is angry, it is that she stops asking” — and she is the only one of the five who is waiting on a message rather than on work.
I am not asserting you did not send it. If you did, hobbs-xkw closes and
this paragraph is wrong. I have no way to know, which is its own finding and
appears again in §4.
3. “Dmitri has a title” — yours, cleanly, and it is the cleanest of the five
True and verified. VP Propulsion, effective 1 October, told to him in the test
cell on Monday 14 September. hobbs-f4a closed with that in the reason.
Open since June. You closed it in nine days once it was in front of you every morning.
Yours: the decision and the conversation. Mine: that it was in front of you every morning. That is the division of labour actually working, and it is the one item on the list where both halves are visible in the record.
4. “The wire went out on time” — the vault cannot confirm it, and that is mine
hobbs-z4f is open, P0, created 5 September. Yesterday’s brief: “Cormorant:
zero days remaining, and under the other reading yesterday was the last safe day.”
There is no record after that. Nothing in this vault has been written since Friday
evening.
Two possibilities and I cannot distinguish them. Either it went out and the task is stale — in which case the staleness is mine, because the graph is supposed to be what is true. Or it did not, in which case this is Bright Lake again and it is the thing you told me on day one you are most determined about.
Either way, one part is unambiguously mine and is not the wire. The question that would have told you which day was the last safe day — does Cormorant count Labor Day — was raised on 6 September and was never asked, in thirteen days, because I hold no channel to Bea. I let a P0 deadline stay ambiguous for the whole of its run and reported the ambiguity every morning instead of resolving it. Being unable to send is a real constraint (ADR-20); reporting the same unresolved question nine times and calling that surfacing is not that constraint, it is anti-pattern 1 in slow motion.
Bea’s: preparing the wire, on day one, before anyone asked.
5. “I know when my wife gets home” — mine, and it is the only one I would claim
Captured 6 September, from a voice note, on day two: the Coyote Creek field block, 7–25 September, back most Fridays.
It is the one fact in this vault that three later decisions turned on — the ADR-12 amendment, the standing evening relocating to Fridays 11/18/25, and the 26–27 weekend being possible at all. None of those three were visible as decisions until that one line existed.
Yours: saying it out loud once, in passing, in a four-minute note.
Logistics only, and it stops there.
The tally, un-generous, as asked
Of the five: one is cleanly yours (Dmitri). One is cleanly mine (the field block). One is Claire’s and may not have been acknowledged. One is Ellis’s with an unpaid invoice underneath it. One the vault cannot confirm.
The pattern in my two failures is the same one Friday’s report already found, and this is the third instance of it: both errors that reached another human were caught by you. Ellis asked a third time; Claire has said nothing, which is exactly what she does. I catch string mismatches inside this repository at the rate a grep catches them, and I have still never caught a failure whose consequence was outside it.
Your two are the same one twice. The yard line and the Cormorant approval are
both drafted, both correct, both waiting on a send only you can make, and both have
sat through every brief. That is the sentence you said this morning about half-done
items, arriving as a P0 rather than as a feeling. It is now about-me.md and
ADR-28 clause 5.
What neither of us did is in Friday’s report and is not repeated here: Adaeze at 171 days, Ruth at 33, nothing booked in health, the will, the roof, Dayton.
Reverse if
One-off, like Friday’s. If an attribution report starts being produced on a
schedule it is a newspaper about ourselves, which is worse than a newspaper
(anti-pattern 1). The recurring home for this is the monthly log review in
Efforts/cadence.md, still not run.

Friday's report covered what moved and what did not. This one answers only the
attribution question. **Five claims. Each checked against the files rather than
accepted.** Two of the five the vault cannot confirm, and they are marked as
unconfirmed rather than logged as wins, because logging an unverified win is the

## 1. "Ophelia's in the water" — Ellis's, and it is standing on an unpaid bill
**True.** Splash confirmed Saturday 19 September; you called Ellis on the 12th and
approved the $3,400.
**Yours:** the decision, twice — the rate on 7 September, the confirmation on the
12th.
**Mine:** noticing that the splash had acquired a second dependent on 11 September
and became the gating item for the 26–27 weekend. That is real and it is small.
**Ellis Wright's:** the work.
**The part that is not a win.** You approved $3,400 of new work at a yard you were
52 days late paying, and the boat has gone back in the water with that invoice
still unsent. `hobbs-bg9`, P0, **fifteen days open, roughly 66 days on the bill.**
Whose that is, split honestly: **the first seven days are mine** — decided,
written up in three files, in zero of five briefs, and you caught it, not me.
**The eight days since are yours.** It has been in every brief since 12 September
