Someday — Ashcroft Tool & Die
What this file is for. Projects that are real but are not being worked, so
they leave projects/ without leaving the vault. The rule is anti-pattern 13:
more than about seven active projects under one venture cannot be reviewed
weekly, and the weekly review refuses an eighth until one moves here.
It moves on the weekly review, not on a session’s judgment mid-week. Moving something here is a decision that it is not being worked; that is Rowan’s to make and it belongs in the ritual that looks at the whole venture at once.
Active projects in this venture: 1 of about seven.
Parked — the two futures that were not chosen
Recorded here rather than dropped, because ADR-25 reversed the direction and did not choose a different one. The three futures are still three, and two of them have no note anywhere else in this vault.
- Sell to a consolidator. Not chosen, not ruled out, and nothing in this vault values the company — which is also missing input 1 of ADR-26. If [[claire-buy-in]] does not land, this is one of the two things left.
- Wind down over five years. Not chosen, not ruled out. Twenty-two people’s jobs, which is the fact ADR-05 used to give this venture its own folder in the first place.
Neither is being worked and neither should be forgotten. Rowan’s own line on the whole set:
“I genuinely do not mind which of the three — I mind that it’s been undecided for four months.”
Four months is now six and a half, derived from that statement’s date and today’s, not carried forward.
What is not parked
The related-party supply question — whether Tool & Die supplies Halcyon. It is
open and gated on [[Tomas Reyes]] (hobbs-cqf), it is the one cross-venture
element in this venture’s decision log, and when it is answered it becomes a new
ADR in Atlas/decisions.md. Open is not parked.

# Someday — Ashcroft Tool & Die
**What this file is for.** Projects that are real but are not being worked, so
they leave `projects/` without leaving the vault. The rule is anti-pattern 13:
**more than about seven active projects under one venture cannot be reviewed
weekly, and the weekly review refuses an eighth until one moves here.**
**It moves on the weekly review, not on a session's judgment mid-week.** Moving
something here is a decision that it is not being worked; that is Rowan's to make
and it belongs in the ritual that looks at the whole venture at once.
**Active projects in this venture: 1 of about seven.**
## Parked — the two futures that were not chosen
Recorded here rather than dropped, because **ADR-25 reversed the direction and
did not choose a different one.** The three futures are still three, and two of
them have no note anywhere else in this vault.
1. **Sell to a consolidator.** Not chosen, not ruled out, and **nothing in this

2. **Wind down over five years.** Not chosen, not ruled out. **Twenty-two people's

the first place.
