## Daily brief — 06:15

**ADR-09.** Rowan is awake at five and does not want it then:

> "I want it after I've stopped thinking about the rig and before Sam's up."

Delivery today: **terminal, by hand, via `/daily-brief`.** No channel exists
(ADR-20). Telegram is the obvious future default — installed, used for nothing,
therefore the only channel he would not already be ignoring at 06:15.

Sections, fixed order, rendering only when non-empty:

1. **Atlas changes** since the last brief
2. **Decisions needed today**
3. **Top three**, filtered by the day's shape
4. **Quiet** — days-since and one action, no adjectives (ADR-10)
5. **Waiting-for**, aging
6. **Spotlight** — exactly one (ADR-19)
7. **Family and personal blocks** — equal billing

Cut: **meeting prep**, until a calendar curator exists. Cap: **~4,000 characters**,
self-imposed. Every line demands a response.

## Weekly review — Sunday 17:00

**ADR-15.** Two hours before Ruth's landline call at 19:00.

**Step one, before anything else: read Bea's Sunday email — the "needs you"
section at the bottom first.** That section is the one Rowan has, to his
knowledge, never once scrolled to.

Then the automated **get-current** pass, then the review. Full routine:
`Efforts/routines/weekly-review.md`.

Rowan on why the slot works:

Annually: re-read every ADR.

Daily plus weekly is the engine. The rest is maintenance, and is added when a
limitation is felt, not before.
